파키스탄 지진 생존자가 Peerander에서 파괴된 자신의 집을 바라보고 있다. 

지진이 파키스탄에서 Nawabshah 지역의 다양한 부분을 강타하여 70명 이상의 사상자와 적어도 한 사람이 사망자가 발생했다. 여러 건물의 지붕의 붕괴로 그 아래에 사람들이 매장되었다.

At least one person has been killed and 70 injured after an earthquake hit various parts of the Nawabshah district in Pakistan. Roofs of several buildings collapsed, burying people under them.

재난 경보는 4.3 강도를 예고 했으나 실제로는 약 5.0 규모의 진도가 발생했다고 미국 지질 조사국 (USGS)가 밝혔다.

The quake was around 5 in magnitude on the Richter scale (preliminary data suggested it was 4.3), the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.

진원지는 15.6 킬로미터의 깊이에서, Nawabshah의 북동 27km 였다.

The epicenter was 27 kilometers to the northeast of Nawabshah, at a depth of 15.6 kilometers.

지진 피해 지역에서 최소 25개 이상의 진흙 벽돌 주택이 붕괴되었다고 당국은 밝혔다. 

부상자 중 일부는 정부 병원에서 중태에 빠졌다고, 로샨 알리 셰이크, 지방의 재활 및 재난 관리 부서에서 상단 관계자는 AP 통신에 말했다.

It least 25 mud-brick homes collapsed in the quake-hit district. Authorities are currently assessing the damage. 

Some of those injured were listed in critical condition at a government hospital, Roshan Ali Sheikh, the top official at the province's rehabilitation and disaster management department, told AP.

경찰과 구조 대원은 두려움과 공포가 뒤범벅된 건물 속의 부상자를 비상 사태가 선언 된 Nawabshah의 시민 병원에 부상자를 옮겼다고, Dawn.com이 보도했다.

Police and rescue workers brought the injured to Nawabshah's Civil hospital, where an emergency has been declared. 

Buildings were quickly evacuated as fear and panic gripped the area, Dawn.com reported.

 파키스탄은 자주 지진이 강타하고 있다. 2013 년 9 월에 7.7 리히터 규모의 지진은 적어도 3백76명을 죽이고, 발 루치 스탄 주를 기록했다.

Pakistan is frequently struck by earthquakes. In September 2013, a 7.7-magnitude quake hit the province of Baluchistan, killing at least 376 people.
